Corporate Counsel Business Journal is engaging an experienced social media editor to manage weekly social publishing for an executive-level legal and business audience.

This is a focused editorial role requiring judgment, accuracy, and independence. It is not a high-volume or promotional position. Quality, tone, and discretion matter.

Responsibilities

  • Publish and schedule weekly social posts based on CCBJ editorial content
  • Write concise, professional copy aligned with CCBJ’s voice and readership
  • Select and prepare appropriate visuals from existing assets
  • Ensure accuracy, formatting, links, and timing across platforms
  • Maintain a consistent weekly publishing cadence without supervision
  • Exercise editorial judgment, including what should not be posted

  • LinkedIn (primary)
  • X / Twitter (secondary, selectively)

Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing social media for a professional publication, firm, or B2B organization
  • Strong writing and editing skills with command of tone and nuance
  • Highly detail-oriented; errors are rare
  • Self-directed and reliable; able to work independently
  • Familiarity with legal, governance, or professional services content preferred

Role Structure

Compensation
Competitive, commensurate with experience.
