Social Marketing Copywriter – $35/hr – $38/hr
IMPORTANT: Before applying to this role, please make sure you have an up to date, well fleshed-out portfolio showcasing a generous amount of copywriting samples from your time working directly with, or in support of, Fortune 500 companies (or even smaller, trailblazing companies). We are looking for a portfolio that is dynamic and, very importantly, shows an abundance of SOCIAL MEDIA samples!! We are looking for personality and punch in your work – wit, humor, pithy, etc.
The Social Marketing Copywriter will work closely with the brand producers and the creative lead to write copy for social first brand marketing, as well as campaign copywriting that covers social media (first and foremost), video, marketing campaigns, web copy, emails, and more. They will work to support marketing efforts around a wide range of products for our client, a giant in the tech space, including their various software offerings, AI tech, and touch screen products. Expect to do a lot of updating of copy for existing assets.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working in very heads-down, high-productivity environments, and producing copy for highly visible deliverables. This is a very collaborative environment that will have you working with a wide range of internal stakeholders, partners, and colleagues – both from Aquent and internally with our client. This will include executives on the client side.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An attention getting portfolio with lots of social media samples
- 3+ years experience copywriting and editing social media assets
- Comfort working in a fast-paced reactive development environment
- An understanding of storytelling for social consumer marketing, demonstrated by your portfolio samples
This is a contract position.
Compensation Range: $35-39/hr
The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
