We’re one of the fastest growing clipping and advertising agencies in the market, working with some of the biggest names across multiple industries. We’re hiring a short form scriptwriter who has a proven track record of writing content that goes viral, whether for their own accounts or for clients they’ve worked with.
This role is built for someone who lives and breathes social media. You spot trends before they peak, understand exactly what makes a viewer stop scrolling, and know how to turn attention into leads for the brands you write for.
Responsibilities:
Write approximately 600 short form scripts per month across a roster of 10 high profile clients
Craft hooks, narratives, and CTAs engineered for retention, virality, and lead generation
Stay ahead of platform trends across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
Leverage AI tools (Claude, PoppyAI, and others) to accelerate output without compromising quality
Collaborate with editors, social media managers, and account leads to ensure scripts translate to performance
Analyze post performance and iterate on what’s working
Continuously develop new content angles, formats, and storytelling frameworks
Requirements:
Demonstrated track record of writing scripts that have gone viral, either for clients or your own accounts (please provide proof)
Deep understanding of short form storytelling, hook writing, and viewer psychology
Extroverted, energetic, and genuinely obsessed with social media culture
Proficiency with AI tools and the ability to use them to amplify creative output
Strong grasp of how content drives leads, not just views
Comfortable writing at high volume without losing quality or originality
Sharp instinct for trends and the confidence to pitch new ideas to clients
Excellent written English and a versatile creative voice
Compensation:
$3,000 – $3,500 USD per month base
Performance bonuses for every post that exceeds viral KPIs
Long term role with growth potential as we expand our client roster
