We are seeking an SEO Content Writer to support our content and organic search efforts across a defined group of client accounts. This role owns the SEO content process from research and ideation through writing, optimization, and editing.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal SEO Content Writer is a strategic thinker, strong researcher, and skilled writer who understands that SEO content must balance search performance with clarity, accuracy, and brand voice.

You are comfortable:

  • Turning keyword research into thoughtful, well-structured content
  • Writing long-form blog posts that are educational, accurate, and optimized
  • Editing your own work thoroughly before submission
  • Receiving client feedback and synthesizing it into improved processes
  • Communicating clearly with both clients and internal team members
  • Managing multiple projects while maintaining quality and deadlines

You understand that your role is not just to “write content,” but to create strategic assets that build authority, improve search visibility, and support long-term client growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesSEO Research & Strategy Support

  • Conduct supplemental keyword and topic research as needed
  • Brainstorm and develop SEO-aligned content ideas based on client goals
  • Research topics primarily from a functional and metabolic healthcare lens
  • Align content with SEO best practices and client expectations

Content Writing & Editing

  • Write long-form, well-researched health and wellness blog posts
  • Develop website copy that is optimized for search and user experience
  • Self-edit for grammar, clarity, structure, brand voice, and trends
  • Optimize content for on-page SEO requirements

Quality Assurance & Feedback Integration

  • Implement client feedback thoughtfully and consistently
  • Synthesize recurring feedback into internal SOP improvements
  • Ensure deliverables meet both SEO standards and brand guidelines

Client & Team Communication

  • Interface with clients via email to share progress, deliverables, and clarifications
  • Communicate clearly with project managers to resolve questions
  • Share and receive feedback with internal teams
  • Proactively address time-sensitive issues and elevate when necessary

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience writing SEO-optimized content (long-form blog posts required)
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO principles
  • Excellent grammar, editing, and written communication skills
  • Ability to conceptualize strategically and think creatively
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to respond professionally to clients, contractors, and supervisors in English

Role & Compensation

Type: Contract – Hourly
Hours: 10–15 hours per week, with opportunity to grow

Compensation:

  • $24–$35 per hour, depending on experience
  • Opportunity for growth based on performance
