SEO Consultant – Up to $10,000 a year
DESCRIPTION OF CONSULTING SERVICES REQUIRED:
CCIH is seeking a consultant to strengthen our online visibility through a comprehensive SEO review and optimization plan. The consultant will conduct a full SEO audit, including an assessment of performance such as site speed, indexing, sitemaps, redirects, and broken links, as well as mobile optimization and structured data. They will identify practical “quick wins” to improve search performance and develop a targeted keyword and content optimization strategy.
The consultant’s role would include:
- Conduct SEO audit.
- Review technical issues (speed, indexing, sitemap, redirects, broken links).
- Check mobile optimization and structured data.
- Identify quick wins that improve search performance.
- Develop a keyword and content optimization plan.
- Provide 3–5 sample optimized pages/posts (title tags, meta descriptions, and internal links).
- Improve analytics visibility.
- Review the setup of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Search Console.
- Ensure sitemap submission and goal tracking.
- Provide simple instructions for monitoring performance.
- Provide a brief training or handover document.
- Provide summary of recommendations for future content and website redesign.
All work and deliverables should be completed by July 15, 2026.
ESTIMATED LOE AND PAYMENT
- Consultant to propose LOE required for the above tasks, and propose budget.
- Payment will be paid half to start and half on approved completion of deliverables.
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Place of work: Any place with sufficient internet and the ability to meet with CCIH staff during US day work hours.
- Consultant is completely independent of CCIH and will not be provided with benefits, office, or supportive services beyond what is outlined in the agreement.
- Consultant will maintain close contact online with CCIH staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with WordPress SEO and Yoast plugin.
- Familiarity with GA4, Search Console, and keyword research tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner or other).
- Strong English written and oral communication skills.
- (Bonus) Experience working with international, multilingual or faith-based organizations, Knowledge of nonprofit or international development communications.
