About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Copywriter with a strong cybersecurity background to join our high-performing, collaborative, Demand Generation team.
The Senior Copywriter is responsible for creating compelling and original content for digital platforms, campaigns, and sales material that supports the full buyer’s journey and helps fuel Arctic Wolf’s demand marketing engine.
As a member of the Demand Generation team, the Senior Copywriter will work closely with Demand team members and frequently work cross-functionally with Product, Channel, and Field Marketing, as well as the Creative and Communications teams.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit content that will attract, engage, and convert leads for the Demand Generation team at Arctic Wolf
- Dual focus on writing short, catchy, creative digital copy on one hand, and longform data-driven reports and guides on the other
- Understand and leverage cybersecurity industry trends, the corporate brand, and value propositions to create quality content that will resonate and engage a tech-savvy audience
- Deliver timely content for digital channels, including website, blog, gated assets (guides/white papers), email, video, webinar, social media, advertising, and more
- Support the copywriting needs of various marketing functions outside of Demand Gen, which will involve writing for different audiences, including customer, channel, and product marketing
- Help develop new content ideas and translate those ideas into outlines
- Collaborate with marketing and product cross-functionally as part of the content creation process
- Ensure all content is optimized for inbound marketing best practices
Who You Are
- Excellent storytelling, copywriting, and editing skills, with a strong focus on translating complex concepts for general IT and security audiences
- A strong grasp of brand voice/tone with a portfolio that demonstrates this experience across content formats
- Solid understanding of digital mediums and how to write across digital channels (advertising, social, email, blog, web)
- Understanding of the buyer’s journey and how content maps to different stages in the B2B funnel
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and efficient with time management
- Ability to take on multiple projects at once and deliver quickly and effectively under tight timelines
- Can collaborate and synthesize strategic inputs from multiple diverse sources, including product and sales teams
- Can be creative while adhering to brand guidelines
- Flexible and able to shift strategies and tactics when working with multi-phase and complex projects
- Fast learner, able to understand complex technologies and adapt quickly to process changes
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years copywriting experience in the technology industry, preferably in cybersecurity
- Experience working with project management software (Wrike preferred)
- Basic understanding of SEO and B2B marketing best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Cybersecurity
- Wrike experience
