Senior Copywriter (Agora / Boardroom Style)
We’re Friday Plans, a technology-driven US-based company evolving from a leading online pharmacy into a vertically integrated pharmaceutical company. Our mission is to develop, manufacture, and commercialize our own portfolio of medicines for the US market. While we handle the complex world of pharma and regulatory compliance, we rely on hardcore, high-converting direct response copy to fuel our growth and generate massive revenue.
We’re Looking For: Senior Copywriter (Agora / Boardroom Style)
Location: Remote
How to Apply:
We ask that you please submit…
- Your resume and a cover letter explaining why you’re excited about this position
- Write a 500-word email about a healthy habit you have in your life and why you think we should try it. Here is the catch: You must write it strictly using classic Agora or Boardroom direct response principles. Give us a strong hook, the “Rule of One,” and undeniable proof. Write it conversationally, in a way that really makes us want to implement it TOMORROW. If we’re convinced—and if you prove you actually know how to follow proven copy rules—you get an interview. Your application will not be considered if the sales pitch is missing. Please send your sales pitch to: hrd@fridayplans.com
What You’ll Be Doing:
Combine fresh and creative ideas, razor-sharp writing, high-level persuasion skills, and an overall drive to create massive revenue with an emphasis on writing and editing scripts for video sales letters.
- Write and edit successful scripts for long-form video and text sales letters utilizing proven Agora/Boardroom frameworks
- Relentlessly execute on the established “rules” of direct response—focusing on strong leads, deep emotional pacing, and undeniable proof
- Develop a deep understanding of the different pharmaceutical products and brands in need of written content
- Continuously iterate on copy to increase conversions and aggressively beat controls, with a focus on customer acquisition
- Create copy to be included on upsell funnel pages, ads, landing pages, and other projects as assigned
- Consistently produce Facebook/YouTube ad creative that scales
- Edit and proofread writing of colleagues, providing feedback based on data and proven copy principles
- Conduct intensive primary research to ensure that written content is accurate and highly persuasive
- Drive and provide creative direction on key projects, including video shoots as appropriate
- Collaborate in-depth with media buyers, video editors, and the product development/regulatory team
Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):
- Rule Follower: You must be willing to check your ego at the door, accept feedback, and follow the rules of copy rather than trying to be “clever.”

- Intensive research experience using primary sources to find the “Big Idea.”
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent time-management skills
