Senior Content Writer, Healthmine – $65,000 – $72,000/Year

Copywriting, content marketing, storytelling, oh my? Healthmine is looking for a Senior Content Writer to join our growing marketing team and to help bring our creative vision and brand story to life. The Senior Content Writer must embrace variety, thrive in owning copy development, and be passionate about educating and connecting with audiences through timely, clever, and purposeful words. We’re looking for a writer that can think strategically and creatively to execute brand and sales goals.

While this role’s primary job function is writing, we’re searching for someone with a design-centric mindset who can think critically about how copy can flow into design and serve as a great partner to the design team.

The right person will be detail-obsessed, self-motivated, collaborative, and inspired by all facets of brand, design, and most importantly, helping people understand and take the right actions to live their healthiest lives. This role reports directly to the Content Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Key responsibilities of this role include performing at a high-level in the required competencies:

  • Develop compelling content for all Healthmine B2B marketing initiatives, including website pages, landing pages, emails, blog articles, white papers/guides/eBooks, video scripts, press releases, infographics, digital marketing (e.g., paid search, display), promotional ads and more.
  • Write and maintain sales support materials, such as collateral/sell sheets, case studies/success stories, pitch presentations and more.
  • Contribute to social media growth (LinkedIn) by developing timely posts and interacting with people and other brands.
  • Collaborate with team members in and outside the marketing team, including graphic designers and other stakeholders, to deliver timely and relevant content.
  • Critically and carefully edit content from subject matter experts to meet Healthmine brand standards and thought leadership goals.
  • Develop content for miscellaneous internal communications and other ad hoc requests.
  • Keep a pulse on marketing trends, industry news, and the competitive landscape to best position our brand and product.
  • This position is an individual contributor role.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • College degree (BS/BA) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or similar field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in writing branded content for relevant agency or in-house.
  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B marketing experience.
  • Experience writing for healthcare or tech brand preferred.
  • Experience in writing for video a plus.
  • Portfolio of work required.
  • Proven experience of excellent long- and short-form copywriting and storytelling for highly complex topics.
  • Strong ability creating design-centric content.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate, motivate, and inspire cross-functionally with teams to complete projects, and articulate concepts and ideas.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast-paced and respond to changes in business priorities environment.
  • Experience with brand building, national marketing, and digital innovation.
