Search Engine Optimization Copywriter – $70K/yr – $85K/yr
Responsibilities
- Write fresh, high-quality website content for newly acquired clients, optimizing for SEO performance.
- Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy.
- Work with other team members to manage content calendars for client blogs, content updates, and website additions.
- Consistently review existing client sites for content improvements based on performance data.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and execute content strategies that align with overall business goals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Juggle multiple assignments and deadlines at the same time, while delivering smart content that performs well and meets client expectations.
- Tackle work with minimal oversight and monitor workload to ensure deadlines are met.
- Act as an on-page SEO expert and identify opportunities for optimization.
Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years of experience writing high-performing digital content
- A true passion for research, problem-solving, and writing inspiring customer-facing content
- A strong understanding of SEO tactics and strategies to help identify current opportunities for optimization
- Exercises discretion and independent judgment
- Self-starter, ethical, and responsible
- Ability to prioritize and plan for long-term growth in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong project management and organizational skills
