Scriptwriter – WWE Channel | TopRope
We are seeking a creative and passionate WWE YouTube Scriptwriter to craft engaging scripts through clip selection, interview soundbites and dynamic storytelling.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate MUST be a current fan of pro wrestling, specifically WWE, and currently watch today’s WWE and AEW programming. If you don’t do not even bother applying. I need a witty writer who talks like a fan and expresses themselves as storytellers and focuses on retention.
Job Requirements
-Deliver 1 script every other week within 6 days.
-A strong sense of storytelling and the creativity to build narratives from minimal info to work from.
-Tell stories with a sense of humor and or in an engaging format. Use their own wrestling interest to tell storries. Writing in a way that talks to the audience instead of writing an essay.
-Skilled at sourcing relevant high definition clips and shaping scripts around existing footage
-Ability to brainstorm and develop storylines that carry across multiple pieces of content
-Comfortable working fast and meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
-Sharp eye for detail, especially when it comes to scripting videos
-Most importantly—a genuine passion for WWE YouTube content and a constant drive to get better at your craft.
You will also be asked to write a short sample for further review.
