Scriptwriter for Product Review Channel | RankFinance
Seeking a YouTube scriptwriter to help elevate our review video content. You’ll work directly with the channel owner to refine our script templates, analyze video performance (CTR, retention, affiliate sign-ups), and co-write high-converting scripts that drive affiliate conversions. This is a hands-on, collaborative role with the opportunity for ongoing work after a successful test project.
Ideal Candidate
- Deep understanding of YouTube content strategy, especially for listicle, review, and comparison videos.
- Experience writing engaging, high-retention scripts for YouTube (crypto/finance niche a plus).
- Analytical mindset: comfortable reviewing YouTube Analytics (CTR, retention, conversion data) to inform script improvements.
- Collaborative and open to feedback; able to work 1:1 to iterate on templates and scripts.
- Strong grasp of persuasive writing, storytelling, and structuring content for both education and conversion.
- Bonus: Familiarity with affiliate marketing and optimizing CTAs for sign-ups.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience writing YouTube scripts (portfolio or channel links required).
- Ability to analyze video performance metrics and translate insights into actionable script changes.
- Excellent written English and attention to detail.
- Willingness to start with a paid test project (e.g., script revision or new “Best Of” video script).
- Availability for video calls/work sessions to discuss channel strategy and script iterations.
- Tools: Access to Google Docs, YouTube Studio, and (optionally) basic spreadsheet skills for tracking data.
