Script (Steps) Writer + Screen recorder | Affluent Studio – $6,000-$12,000 Per Year
Our videos for this role will primarily focus on tutorials, reviews, and step-by-step walkthroughs of SaaS software and digital products.
Your responsibility is to first create a clear, structured set of steps for each video. These steps will then be used to guide your screen recording, where you’ll walk through the software in real time, following the exact flow of the steps.

You’ll need to break down the entire process into individual steps that will be shown in the video. This includes everything, navigation, buttons clicked, inputs entered, prompts used, and any important on-screen actions. Provide any assets that are generated or relevant to the walkthrough (example: if you generate a video as part of the walkthrough, download the video and provide that with any other assets. Make sure they’re labelled to the corresponding step).

After receiving the final script, record your screen while going through the tool or course, following the script exactly — as if you’re performing a live walkthrough.
Requirements:
– Excellent attention to detail, you must follow steps exactly with no missed actions
– Understanding of engaging video flow (you know how to structure steps so they make sense and keep the viewer engaged)
– Experience with screen recording tutorials or SaaS walkthroughs is a plus
– Fluent in English with clear communication skills
– Create a separate Chrome profile named “AFFContent” for all recordings. This ensures no personal bookmarks, tabs, or browsing history appear in the video.
– Ensure your screen recording is high quality, smooth, clear, and free from lag.
– Move at a natural pace: don’t rush through steps, but also avoid unnecessary delays.
– Most recordings should fall within the 10–20 minute range, depending on the length of the script.
– Follow the script from beginning to end in the correct order. This is essential, as the editor will sync your footage with a voiceover.
