Proofreader + Copy Editor
The Proof and Edit Specialist is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of written content by meticulously proofreading and editing documents within the healthcare sector. This role aims to enhance clarity, accuracy, and consistency in all communications, ensuring adherence to industry standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and proofread a variety of documents for accuracy and clarity.
- Edit content to improve readability and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
- Collaborate with writers and subject matter experts to refine materials before publication.
- Ensure all documents are formatted according to company and industry guidelines.
- Provide feedback to writers on content improvements and editing techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in proofreading and editing, particularly in healthcare-related content.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional grammar skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with copy editing principles is a plus.
