Job Overview:
Piedmont Metals of NC, Inc. specializes in Post Frame, Building Barndominiums, Metal Roofing, and Steel Buildings. We focus on quality assurance through a rigorous procurement and quality plan implemented in the field. In addition to our construction services, we also sell metal roofing and building products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proofread and edit hospital documents, patient communications, reports, and marketing materials
* Ensure all written content adheres to Miami Valley Hospital’s tone, brand, and formatting guidelines
* Check for proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, and consistency
* Collaborate with content creators and departments to improve clarity and accuracy
* Manage multiple assignments with varying deadlines
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards when reviewing sensitive materials
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in proofreading or editing, preferably in a healthcare or professional environment
* Exceptional command of the English language
* Familiarity with common style guides (AP, Chicago, etc.)
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred)
