Principal Brand Copywriter
The Principal Brand Copywriter is responsible for bringing the PROS brand voice to life by crafting original copy for campaigns across the customer journey and reviewing/editing content to ensure all marketing materials consistently communicate a powerful message across various channels.
The Principal Brand Copywriter is a creative problem solver with a passion for brand, content, and storytelling, who excels at breaking down sophisticated technical concepts into simple, engaging language.
This role works closely with the Creative Director and collaborates with graphic design, strategy, social, and digital teams, as well as various stakeholders within the organization.

A Day in the Life of the Principal Brand Copywriter:
- Turn business initiatives into creative briefs to concept “the big idea” for 360 campaigns
- Write relevant thought leadership awareness messaging, lead generation content, and persuasive, conversion-focused copy for a number of formats from digital ads, landing pages, and emails, to video scripts, blogs/articles, and more
- Maintain PROS brand voice guidelines and act as brand steward and copyeditor to ensure external-facing messaging is consistent across numerous channels
- Develop self-service messaging assets, guidelines, and templates to empower various content creators within the organization to write impactful copy that follows brand voice guidelines and industry best practices
- Build informative and engaging digital content about our solutions for a range of audiences across the customer journey
- Be familiar with industry-related topics and work cross-functionally with various teams and SMEs in order to write authentically about technical concepts that resonate with our audiences
- Collaborate with peers to share insights and support content creation best practices, contributing to team-wide growth and quality improvement
- Manage your multiple, concurrent projects through company-provided project management software, balance priorities based on business needs and meet deadlines consistently
- Leverage AI tools to create and atomize content, ensuring consistency in brand voice and expanding content output across multiple platforms, maximizing reach and engagement
