Part-Time SEO Specialist – $24 – $28 an hour

Make Waves Design LLC is a fast growing web development and digital marketing agency located in Stockton, CA.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven SEO Specialist with a minimum of 3 years SEO experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of search engine optimization strategies and techniques, with a focus on improving online presence and driving organic traffic in a variety of different industries.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization and new content creation.
  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies that align with overall marketing goals.
  • Optimize website content, including product descriptions, blog posts, and landing pages, using best practices for on-page SEO.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, BrightLocal and SEMrush, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the content team to create high-quality, engaging content that meets SEO standards.
  • Manage technical SEO aspects of the website, including site structure, URL optimization, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes to adapt strategies accordingly.

Skills

  • Proficiency in WordPress for managing website content effectively.
  • Experience with Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategies to complement organic efforts.
  • Strong research skills to identify trends, keywords, and competitive analysis.
  • Knowledge of Google tools (such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console) for tracking performance metrics.
  • Experience using various SEO tools to analyze performance and optimize strategies.
