Paid Media Copywriter

Responsibilities

  • Research and draft ad copies for paid media (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc,.), ready for client/publishing.
  • Follow brand guidelines, and adjust tone and content accordingly.
  • Write messaging for users in different stages of the funnel.
    • E.g., Retargeting audience, need to drive someone to purchase = Price / Product. Or cold audience, need to drive engagement = Product Benefits / Features
  • Clear and concise ad copy for meaningful communication and key message deliverability. Understand the target user demographics and optimize messaging ad copies to persuade target users to convert.
  • Understand the target audience (behaviors, interests, demographics, ICPs/personas) and optimize messaging ad copies to persuade target audience to convert.
  • Effectively address user concerns, product features/benefits in messaging.
  • Align ad copy with creative strategy. In other words, make sure the copy matches up with the creative.

Requirements

  • Native English written and verbal communication is required. No exceptions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of full-funnel advertising.
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience of direct-response, short-form, and long-form copy.
  • Ability to harness both forms, short-form, and long-form for effective content.
  • Must have experience in paid media copywriting.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate words.
  • Strong levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
