We are seeking a detail-oriented Proofreader to review and refine written content before publication. This role ensures all materials are clear, accurate, grammatically correct, and aligned with company standards. The ideal candidate has a strong command of English, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a remote environment.Key Responsibilities
- Review and proofread written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and formatting across documents
- Verify accuracy of financial terminology and data when necessary
- Edit content while preserving the author’s original meaning and intent
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and internal teams to finalize materials
- Identify and correct inconsistencies or formatting issues
- Ensure all documents meet company quality standards before publication
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in proofreading, editing, or content review
- Excellent knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation rules
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or similar editing tools
- Experience working remotely and communicating with distributed teams
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with financial or investment-related content
- Knowledge of style guides such as AP Style or Chicago Manual of Style
