Job Summary:

micro1 is building the go-to weekly read on enterprise AI, focused on AI agent testing and improvement, benchmark releases, and where and why AI systems fail in real-world workflows.

We’re looking for a Newsletter Writer & Editor to own the publication end-to-end from editorial planning and writing to contributor coordination and audience growth. If you want to help shape how enterprise AI reliability gets talked about, this is a fun one to own.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and publish a high-quality weekly newsletter on enterprise AI.
  • Research and turn complex AI developments into clear, engaging stories.
  • Own the editorial calendar and weekly publishing schedule.
  • Coordinate internal and external contributors.
  • Develop new formats, hooks, partnerships, and promotion ideas to grow readership.
  • Maintain a consistent editorial voice and quality across every edition.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience writing or managing a newsletter.
  • Ability to write about AI and technology clearly, without unnecessary hype or jargon.
  • Understanding of what drives newsletter engagement and readership.
  • Editorial judgment and ability to identify compelling topics and angles.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building something from the ground up.
  • Ability to independently manage the publication week to week.
