Position Overview
Regenesis US is seeking an experienced and dynamic Newsletter Writer to lead our written and promotional initiatives, with a particular focus on environmental education. A flexible position that can be undertaken from anywhere in the US, the Newsletter Writer will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive developmental strategies to support Regenesis US’ mission. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in unbiased prose, reporting, stylistic newsletter sensibility, incisive news analysis, and strong attraction to environmental missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Copy and Prose: Write original pieces of environmental and event analysis each month in coordination with Regenesis US’ Executive Team.
- Communication: Closely monitor major international, domestic, and Regenesis-based news and updates.
- Out with the Old, in with the New: Find fresh angles on, or insights into, widely-covered events and issues.
- Time Management: Prepare for Regenesis-focused pieces based on our events, campaigns, and fundraising schedules.
Qualifications
- Prose Experience: 1+ years of experience in creative, descriptive, narrative, or expository writing.
- Grammar: Exceptional writing skills, including a finely tuned sense of English grammar and usage.
- Research Skills: Strong critical-thinking, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational Skills: Consistent ability to meet deadlines.
- Commitment to Mission: A passion for ‘Regenesis US’ mission.
- Permanent Residency Status: Either hold a valid US passport or Green Card.
