Job Summary
As a Freelance News Writer for Total Apex Media, you will create compelling, timely, and well-researched content that informs and engages our audience. You will collaborate with our editorial team to ensure that the stories you write are accurate, engaging, and relevant to our readers.
Duties
- News Reporting & Research: Stay on top of breaking news and major developments in the US and worldwide, including politics, business, finance, health, and more.
- Political & Business Analysis: Provide thoughtful analysis and in-depth reporting on political events, business trends, and economic shifts.
- Health, Tech & Finance Coverage: Offer expert commentary and insights into developments in the health, tech, and finance sectors.
- True Crime & Feature Stories: Investigate and write compelling true crime articles and feature stories that captivate and inform readers.
- Opinion & Editorial Writing: Contribute opinion pieces and thought leadership on key issues in politics, business, and current events.
- SEO Optimization & Research: Conduct thorough research and apply SEO best practices to maximize article reach and visibility.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a news writer, journalist, or content creator, with a strong understanding of current affairs and the ability to write on a variety of topics (writing samples preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of US and world news, politics, finance, health, tech, business, and true crime.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and produce timely, high-quality articles.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and optimizing content for search engines.
