We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Content Lead who can work remotely from any of the following states: AR, MO, ME, or OK.

POSITION SUMMARY

As Summit’s Marketing Content Lead, you will craft compelling copy for various materials and channels while collaborating with the design team. You’ll manage  social media across platforms to uphold our brand voice, engage customers, and foster positive relationships. Additional responsibilities included creating print materials, maintaining the social media marketing calendar, real time event coverage, and cross functional collaboration. Staying current with industry trends, you will enhance our content strategies. This fast paced role demands strong quality control skills, including proofreading and editing, 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Copywriting and Blog Writing: Create engaging copy for websites, landing pages, e-mails, social media, and blog articles. Collaborate with the design team to ensure alignment with visual elements. 
  • Social Media Management: Develop and manage social media content across platforms. Schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to customer interactions promptly and professionally. 
  • Customer Engagement: Assist the Customer Experience team by crafting responses to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback on social media.
  • Print Material Support: Write customer facing print materials such as brochures, flyers, and bill inserts, ensuring alignment with brand messaging. 
  • Content Strategy: Contribute to content strategies that align with marketing goals and target audiences. Generate innovative ideas for new initiatives and campaigns
  • Content Calendar Management: Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to maintain the content calendar, ensuring alignment with campaigns and events.
  • Event Coverage: Attend company events to create real-time content, manage live posts, and engage with audiences.
  • Crisis Management: Assist in developing protocols for addressing potential crisis-related issues on social media. Respond to sensitive issues or negative feedback appropriately.
  • Training and Development: Support the Manager of Social Media and Content Strategy with team training on writing techniques, social media etiquette, and content strategy. 
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintain high-quality output.
  • Additional Duties: Performs other marketing tasks as assigned to support the team’s success.


EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing content creation, focusing on copywriting and social media management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with design teams and manage social media platforms while maintaining consistent brand voice.
  • Experience with customer engagement and writing for print materials.
  • Familiarity with content strategy development and content calendar management. 
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
