The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Copywriter to join our team and help bring the magic of Little Sleepies to life through words. Reporting to our Copywriter, this role collaborates with Creative, Marketing, and eCommerce teams to create compelling, results-driven copy across all channels. If you’re a detail-oriented, efficient writer with a passion for eCommerce and a love for crafting engaging brand stories, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
- Write clear, engaging copy for emails, SMS, web banners, and product launches, aligned with brand voice and marketing goals.
- Craft SEO-friendly product descriptions and meta descriptions in collaboration with the eCommerce, Design, and Merchandise Planning teams.
- Review and edit copy for clarity, grammar, and punctuation throughout the process.
- Develop blog content that supports product education, community engagement, and SEO initiatives.
- Brainstorm themes and concepts with the Copywriter for new product releases, promotions, and campaigns.
- Support marketing copy needs across social media, influencer partnerships, brand collaborations, and packaging inserts.
- Create copy for A/B tests to optimize performance across campaigns and channels.
- Identify fresh, creative ways to connect with and engage our customers.
- Maintain our brand voice and style guide to ensure consistency.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–4 years of copywriting experience, ideally for eCommerce or apparel brands.
(If you don’t have direct experience, please submit writing samples that demonstrate your ability to create marketing-focused content.) - Strong understanding of digital marketing and best practices for writing across various channels.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack, Asana, and Google Suite.
- Proficiency in Figma or similar tools is a plus.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly) to streamline ideation, editing, or workflows.
- Hyper-organized with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for content.
- Creative, proactive, and resourceful with a willingness to bring fresh ideas to the table.
