Las Vegas travel channel needs a scriptwriter | JacobslifeinVegas
My name is Jacob, and I’m the creator of the JacobslifeinVegas YouTube channel. I’m looking for a script writer who focuses on long-form content. At this point I have a small team working with me-1 full-time editor, 2 full-time assistants and 1 consultant. I need to grow so that I can continue to expand my online presence.
This position will start as part-time (1-2 videos per month), but there is opportunity to write even more. In your reply to this job posting, after introducing yourself, please look at one of my last 3 videos, tell me in a few sentences at what moment you felt most engaged, and why?
The most important thing in the beginning will be for you to be able to write in the style of my current videos. You must speak English and conduct all communications in the Pacific Time Zone. You don’t need to have many years of writing experience, but you cannot be brand new either.
You need to be able to write engaging intros, keep the audience’s attention as long as possible throughout the video, and use powerful/emotive language while keeping it in my voice.
The ideal candidate for this job is someone who is reliable and can do their work independently while keeping the team updated on progress. Timely delivery is critical, as scripts directly impact filming and publishing schedules. When you reply to this job posting, at the very bottom please put “P.S. You will receive direction from my senior editor, who loves to advise others and help them improve their skills. That is who you will be mostly working with, and then I will give the script a final review before filming.
