K-12 Writer (Contract) – $40 per hour

Job Description:

K-12 Writer will write stories, passages, and other unique works leveled for an appropriate audience. This will include questions and answer choices in the STAAR assessment format, Revising, and Editing. Writer will also work collaboratively with other team members and be required to use technology as the platform for submitting content. The writer will work 30 to 40 hours a week as a contractor.

Requirements

• Licensed Educator in the state of Texas
• Degree in Education/English
• Familiar with RLA TEKS, Texas standards, and expectations across a variety of grade levels
• Familiar with STAAR assessment, Designated Supports, and Accessibility Features
• Excellent writing skills and ability to write original content across a variety of genres
• Excellent technology skills and familiarity with Google Suite: Sheets, Slides, Docs

Salary Description

$40 per hour
