The agency in question are looking for a passionate junior writer to join their collaborative and friendly team in a varied role where you’d support across multiple different clients and writing about a good mix of topics. The role will focus on writing and editing clear, engaging copy around corporate Sustainability programmes, equality, diversity & inclusion, and ESG for reports and related corporate communications. You will work closely with The Head of Copy and under guidance of Senior Copywriters to learn and progress your writing as you take on more responsibility in the role.

The role will involves taking complex and data heavy information along with source materials, interview transcripts and distilling it into key messages and making it interesting. You’ll be writing longer form copy for Corporate Comms / ESG / Sustainability reports and will need will need to write engaging copy that grabs and holds the audience attention / interest. Ideally you will also be used to writing or editing work with existing ‘Tone of Voice / Brand Guidelines’.

The ideal candidate may be able to demonstrate experience in some of these areas:

· Previous academic or corporate writing and copyediting skills

· Experience of writing long form copy for blogs, marketing, reports or similar

· Interest or experience of writing about Sustainability / Environmental / Climate related topics

· Previous experience in marketing / communications or some form of corporate storytelling

· An ability to distil key messages from complex or technical information

· An aptitude for writing for different audiences, channels and tones of voice

· An ability to build strong working relationships.
