KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate through multiple rounds of either developmental editing or line editing as needed, ensuring each piece is refined to a professional standard and delivered on schedule
- Communicate scientific research in clear, accessible language suitable for non-specialist readers
- Adapt editorial style to layman’s language. Work on a wide breadth of content, be it technical medical content, recipes, citations, or lifestyle tips
- Provide concise feedback that improves clarity and elevates the author’s voice
REQUIRMENTS
- Fluency in Microsoft Word
- Able to edit documents in OneDrive
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and succeed as a book editor in a professional capacity
