I’m hiring 1–2 freelance direct mail copywriters for a lender where I’m a fractional CMO.

The project:
• Copy for direct mail letters and envelopes
• Start in November; final copy due December 31
• Past letters and a messaging guide to get you up to speed fast
What I’m looking for:
• Direct-response experience: you’ve written direct mail letters with results you can point to
• Two audiences: you can write to both homeowners and commercial property owners
• Original thinker: you bring ideas we haven’t tried yet
• Compliant: you write within advertising rules
• Dependable: you meet deadlines and are attentive to detail
Nice to have: lending, financial services, insurance, or real estate experience.
Finalists may be asked to do a short paid test. I’m hiring by mid-November and looking for 1-2 writers to work with long-term — this project is just the start.
