Freelance B2B Senior Copywriter – $50/hr – $75/hr

Marketri LLC is a rapidly growing B2B strategic marketing consulting and fractional marketing provider to mid-sized, growth-oriented companies throughout the U.S. We are seeking a dynamic Freelance B2B Senior Copywriter on a retained contract basis who has exceptional creative, storytelling, and technical copywriting skills. Please note that we are not interested in hiring professionals who have a current full-time role.

*Only applicants with a portfolio of published work in a variety of content types will be considered. We will need to review a wide range of samples of both long-and short-form content in the B2B space across different industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and publish B2B content, including blogs, guides, ebooks, whitepapers, case studies, video scripts, email campaigns, press releases, infographics, social media content, website copy and more.
  • Understand brand tone-of-voice guidelines for each client and reflect it throughout content pieces.
  • Interview subject matter experts, digging into their areas of expertise to develop insightful, original thought-leadership content that can be technical in nature
  • Edit the writing of colleagues and clients to create something compelling while reshaping content to fit best practices.
  • Use your knowledge of SEO and content development to create digital content that ranks well, regularly reviewing and adjusting keyword strategies along with our digital team.
  • Stay on top of project timelines to deliver quality, highly detailed, and carefully edited work on time and on budget.

Qualifications:

  • A strong writing portfolio that includes B2B writing samples across different industry verticals. Past experience writing for B2B companies is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, liberal arts, creative writing or a communications-related field required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience writing a variety of content types within marketing or communications.
  • Agency experience preferred (either in a full-time or contract role).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with digital customer experiences and the buyer’s journey.
