About the Job

Our company, Creator Mill Inc., is seeking experienced script-writers to work on our YouTube channels focused on popular fictional universes, including:

  • Fallout
  • Harry Potter
  • Lord of the Rings
  • The Witcher
  • Warhammer 40k
  • Candidates with strong knowledge of other comparable fictional universes not listed above are also encouraged to apply and should specify their area of expertise in their application.

This is a long-term opportunity for writers who are passionate about storytelling and possess deep knowledge of at least one of the listed franchises. Our content centers on lore, worldbuilding, character histories, timelines, and in-depth narrative analysis.

Ideal Candidate

Responsibilities:

  • Write engaging, well-researched scripts focused on franchise lore and storytelling.
  • Produce approximately one script per week.
  • Typical script length is around 2,000 words, but we often go over that.
  • Maintain accuracy, clarity, and strong audience engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Prior script-writing experience (YouTube preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the franchise you are applying for.
  • Ability to research, structure, and present complex lore in an engaging format.
  • Reliable with deadlines and long-term collaboration.

Franchise-Specific Requirements:

Fallout:

  • Must have played at least one Fallout game.
  • If you have watched the TV show, that is a big plus.

Harry Potter:

  • Must have watched all of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies.
  • If you have read the books, that is a big plus.

Lord of the Rings:

  • Must have watched all of the movies.
  • If you have read the books, that is a big plus.

The Witcher:

  • Must have watched the TV show.
  • If you have played the games or read the books, that is a big plus.

Warhammer 40k:

  • Must have read at least some of the novels.

Compensation:

  • $0.08 USD per word.
  • Average scripts are approximately 2,000 words with frequent longer projects.
  • Ongoing weekly work for successful candidates.
