Executive Ghost Writer
We’re hiring a sharp, witty, and strategic executive ghostwriter to craft concise, high-impact thought leadership content for the founder of a Tech staffing solutions firm based in San Jose, CA. This part-time role (10–15 hours/week) focuses on writing LinkedIn posts, X posts, short-form articles, and occasional long-form pieces that cut through noise and build authority in the staffing and recruiting space.
You’ll help translate the founder’s voice, insights, and personality into powerful content that positions them as a trusted expert — with a tone that’s confident, clear, and clever.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write 5-10, engaging LinkedIn, and X posts per week, optimized for reach and authority.
- Conduct brief weekly interviews with the founder to extract insights and personal stories.
- Create voice-authentic content focused on staffing, business leadership, entrepreneurship, and the future of work.
- Inject wit and edge into writing while maintaining clarity and professionalism.
- Identify relevant trends and opportunities to position the founder as a thought leader.
- Keep content punchy, purposeful, and aligned with brand goals.
- Impromptu press releases through unconventional mechanism’s.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have ghostwritten for founders, CEOs, or industry experts.
- Know how to distill complex ideas into sharp, concise writing.
- Have a natural instinct for tone, voice, and pacing — and can write with personality.
- Are familiar with staffing, recruiting, or B2B service industries (or can learn fast).
- Can mix insight with wit to make content memorable.
- Are highly reliable and can hit weekly deadlines consistently.
