Editorial Staff Member – $23.00 – $24.00 per hour
We are seeking an organized and motivated Staff Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing three newsletters daily, five days a week, across our two platforms, AndNowUKnow and Deli Market News. This is an entry-level position in a fast-paced content creation and marketing environment. We operate on Pacific Standard Time from 8-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily newsletter and press release writing and organization
- Organizing content, processes, and tasks as well as supporting fellow editorial team members
- Experience and efficiency with Slack, ZOOM, Airtable, Excel, Google Docs, and Google Spreadsheets. Proficiency is not necessary at the start of your employment but will come to be expected of you
- Following brand guidelines and maintaining consistency in tone, style, and voice across all written materials
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This is a remote position in which work is performed in a collaborative online environment (Slack)
- This position will have frequent interruptions (multiple channels of communication on Slack) and requires multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail
- Must be able to communicate, ask, understand, and answer questions effectively
PAY AND BENEFITS

Pay: $23.00 – $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

*Candidates both local to Sacramento and outside California may apply—however, we do operate on Pacific Standard Time from 8-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and highly prefer hiring within this time zone.
