Editorial & Research Intern – $20.00 Hourly

Our Phocuswright team is seeking a detail‑oriented, highly organized intern to support both our research and editorial teams. This part‑time role begins at 10–15 hours per week, with the potential to increase hours, and pays $20 per hour. Throughout this internship, you will contribute to the quality, consistency and timely delivery of our travel research content, which includes articles, reports, presentations, and graphics. You will assist with publication workflows, project management tasks, prepare, load, and manage content for distribution. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills and enjoys collaborating with different teams.

This is a remote role with the flexibility to spend some time in our New York City office for occasional training and meetings. What You’ll Do

  • Create front matter for reports, including content summaries, tagging, cross-linking products
  • Review and edit content for consistency, adherence to Style Guide, etc.
  • Communicate with content partners, marketing and others on production-related elements and status
  • Audit content pre- and post-publication, make necessary edits
  • Organize/update Sharepoint folders
  • Support PhocusWire team operations as necessary, such as by loading stories into Ektron

Who You Are

  • A college student in their second year or beyond at an accredited institution
  • Exceptionally organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Strong writing skills with excellent spelling and grammar; familiarity with AP Style is a bonus
  • Comfortable using PowerPoint
  • Experience with content management systems is a plus
