Editor & Lead Writer, NCAA Football Magazine

We are looking for an editor and lead writer to support the launch of new, internationally distributed NCAA football annual, starting in Q2 2026. This is a seasonal, independent contractor role.

Experience with writing and editing according to deadlines is required.

Duties

-Lead the end-to-end editorial process from ideation to final proofing

– Develop themes and story ideas

-Write features

-Commission features from contributing writers and edit/proof their work

-Liaise closely with the publisher and designer

-Ensure all editorial content is delivered according to strict deadlines

Skills

– Deep knowledge of NCAA football

– Writing, editing and proofing

– Ability to conceive engaging themes and topics

Remuneration

Remuneration is a fixed sum per magazine created. The amount will be discussed on the preliminary call.
