POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This position supports Chico’s FAS’s growing editorial content team. This role is responsible for planning into content and copy highly focused on digital assets (email, site) and assisting with social media (paid, organic). Must be passionate about all-things fashion, think beyond the usual with ideas to push editorial content while keeping tone of voice, staying on brand, and remaining elevated + editorial within copy.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Executes the brand voice and tone and ensures it is reflected in all customer touchpoints.

• Takes ownership of and writes copy for digital assets, including email and site

• Assists with and top edits organic social copy and paid media campaign copy.

• Assists in the planning and concepting of seasonal campaign copy.

• Brainstorms new approaches to content and keeps tabs on what’s trending in social- channels

• Supports brand marketing and social initiatives

• Establishes strong relationships with channel owners.

• Gains alignment on editorial and messaging strategies monthly with cross functional partners.

• Executes content audits to keep content fresh, relevant, and updated in partnership with Sr Content Editor.

• Other duties/projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS degree required, preferably in Journalism, Communication, English, or Liberal Arts

• 3-5 years of fashion editorial and/or copywriting experience at a publication, retailer and/or agency

• Exceptional writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills

• Portfolio of highly creative work
