Role Description The Writer role at Maxim Foods is a full-time remote position responsible for creating clear, engaging, and accurate written content that supports the company’s brand and mission. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and editing product descriptions, website copy, marketing materials, and internal communications.
The Writer will collaborate with marketing and operations teams to translate technical and product information into accessible content for customers and stakeholders. This role also involves researching industry trends, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines, and maintaining a tone that reflects Maxim Foods’ commitment to quality and food safety.
Qualifications
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce concise, accurate, and engaging content for various formats.
- Experience crafting content for websites, marketing campaigns, and product descriptions, ideally within food, retail, or consumer goods industries.
- Ability to research and interpret information on food products, quality standards, and safety guidelines, and present it clearly to diverse audiences.
- Solid proofreading skills and attention to detail to ensure grammar, spelling, and style consistency across all materials.
- Comfort working remotely, managing deadlines, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams via digital tools.
- Familiarity with basic digital marketing concepts and content management systems is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of or interest in food safety, quality assurance, and customer-focused communication is an advantage.
