D2C E-Commerce Landing Page Copywriter – $1,500 a month
We’re looking for a D2C E-Commerce Landing Page Copywriter who knows how to turn visitors into buyers in accordance with Avatar Research and Meta Ad Funnels. If you can write headlines that stop the scroll, body copy that builds trust, and CTAs that make people click—we need you on our team at Bear Balanced.
This role is laser-focused on landing pages that convert. You’ll be the person crafting the words that convince someone to try our products for the first time, subscribe, or make a repeat purchase. Every word you write has one job: move people closer to “Add to Cart.”

What You’ll Actually Do
- Write high-converting landing pages. Create persuasive, avatar-focused/benefit-driven copy for product pages/sales funnels that drive purchases.
- Optimize for conversions. Conduct avatar research to make sure our pages convert—nailing relatability is essential.
- A/B test your copy. Work with our CRO team to test headlines, CTAs, and messaging to see what resonates and what drives results.
- Collaborate with the team. Partner with our Founder/Creative Strategist and dev team to ensure copy, visuals, and user experience work together seamlessly.
- Edit ruthlessly. Proofread and polish every word to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with our brand voice.
- Stay on-brand. Write in a way that feels authentic to Bear Balanced—educational, trustworthy, and approachable.
- Keep up with the competition. Research what’s working in the D2C e-commerce space and bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Manage content in our CMS. Update landing page copy as needed.
- Think strategically. Understand the customer journey and craft copy that meets people where they are—whether they’re discovering us for the first time or ready to buy.
What You Bring to the Table
- Proven copywriting chops. You’ve written landing pages or e-commerce copy that’s actually converted—and you can show us the results.
- Direct-response experience. You’ve studied the greats (or at least understand what makes people take action), and you know how to write copy that sells.
- Editing skills. You’re obsessive about grammar, clarity, and making every sentence count. If a word doesn’t serve a purpose, it’s gone.
- Understanding of D2C marketing. You get the nuances of selling directly to consumers online—building trust, addressing objections, and creating urgency.
- CMS experience. You’re comfortable managing and updating content in platforms like Shopify and Replo.
- Collaboration mindset. You work well with marketers and developers to bring landing pages to life.
- Bonus points if: You have a background in health/wellness or supplement brands.
