Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Curriculum Writer to develop evidence-based mental health content for group therapy settings. The ideal candidate will have a background in mental health, psychology, or a related field and be excited to design and write curriculums for topics like self-esteem, executive functioning, CBT, DBT, and more. This is a remote, project-based role with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging, evidence-based group therapy curriculums.
  • Write psychoeducational content that is accessible, meaningful, and effective.
  • Create activities and exercises that reinforce learning and group interaction.
  • Tailor content for specific mental health topics such as self-esteem, executive functioning, and coping skills.
  • Ensure all materials are aligned with current best practices in mental health and group therapy.
  • Collaborate with the Advenium team to refine and improve curriculum materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, mental health, education, or a related field (graduate students or those with advanced degrees preferred).
  • Experience or strong interest in writing mental health-related content.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health (CBT, DBT, etc.).
  • Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Creativity in designing activities and engaging group exercises.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Compensation:

This is a project-based role with compensation per curriculum completed. Rates will be discussed based on experience and the scope of the project.
