Creative Writer / Script Writer for Short-Form Video – $29/hour
We are looking for a creative writer to help develop content ideas, hooks, stories, and scripts for short-form video content.
Please Note: This is not a social media manager or digital marketer position. You do not need professional marketing experience, an influencer background, or an understanding of complex marketing strategy. Your job is strictly to write and tell great stories. I handle the marketing strategy, framing, and strategic angles—you just bring the raw writing talent to bring that vision to life.
What matters most is your ability to write in a way that is engaging, entertaining, funny, relatable, and capable of holding someone’s attention.

Responsibilities
- Brainstorm content ideas
- Write hooks and opening lines
- Write short-form video scripts
- Turn everyday situations into interesting stories
- Help develop recurring content series
- Rewrite rough concepts into stronger content
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong writing ability
- Comedic writing experience preferred
- Understanding of storytelling and audience attention
- Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and current internet culture
- Awareness of social media trends, formats, and what makes people stop scrolling
Compensation & Performance Incentives Contractor position:
- $29 per hour
- Script projects starting at $30 per script, depending on length and complexity
- Performance Incentive Program: We want to reward your hit scripts! If a video featuring your script performs exceptionally well (milestones based on views, engagement, or reach), you will receive a performance bonus per video. Let’s win together.
