Job Description: Copywriter
We are seeking a talented and motivated Copywriter to join our dynamic team. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating clear, compelling, and on-brand content across various mediums while collaborating with marketing, design, and other teams to produce high-quality materials. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines will be essential to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Strategy
- Write engaging and persuasive copy for websites, blogs, emails, social media, advertisements, and more.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice, tone, and style guidelines, maintaining consistency across all platforms.
- Develop creative concepts and ideas for campaigns, contributing to the ideation process during team brainstorming sessions.
Research & Trend Awareness
- Conduct in-depth research on industry topics, trends, and competitors to ensure content is relevant and accurate.
- Stay up to date on market trends, adjusting content strategies to reflect changes in the industry.
Editing & Proofreading
- Edit and proofread copy for clarity, accuracy, and consistency, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s standards.
- Revise content based on feedback, making necessary adjustments to improve quality and meet client needs.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, design, and clients, to create and deliver high-quality content.
- Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and feedback to refine content strategies and concepts.
Project Management & Timeliness
- Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting all deadlines.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and stay organized to meet both short-term and long-term content goals.
Brand Consistency & Legal Compliance
- Uphold brand messaging, ensuring all content reflects the company’s voice and values.
- Ensure all content adheres to legal, ethical, and industry standards, respecting intellectual property rights and avoiding plagiarism.
Professional Development
- Continuously improve copywriting skills by staying updated on industry trends, new tools, and best practices.
- Be open to constructive feedback and adapt writing styles to different audiences and purposes.
Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Produce content such as ad copy, landing pages, and ad scripts.
- Self-edit and ensure the highest quality of work before submission.
- Maintain up-to-date status on project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) and log accurate work details in the time tracker.
- Respond promptly to revision requests, ensuring changes are made and resubmitted within the required timeframe (60-120 minutes).
- Participate in weekly team meetings, arriving on time, camera on, and ready to engage.
- Submit accurate daily and weekly reports, adhering to strict deadlines (no exceptions).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in copywriting or content creation.
- At least 2 (two) years of experience as a Copywriter.
- At least 1 (one) year of experience in an agency setting.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to adapt writing style for various audiences and purposes.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) and time-tracking software.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
