We are looking for a Senior Copywriter who can own messaging across the business, elevate brand standards, and create high-performing copy that builds trust and drives action.
Role Overview
This role operates at the intersection of brand, growth, product, and customer experience. You will lead copy strategy and execution across acquisition funnels, lifecycle marketing, website experiences, product launches, and customer communications.
This is not a passive writing role. We need someone who understands that words impact revenue, trust, retention, and perception. You should be equally comfortable writing a high-converting ad, refining a homepage narrative, building an email campaign, or creating a clear patient-facing explanation of a complex topic.
Responsibilities
* Lead copy development across paid media, landing pages, website flows, email, SMS, social media, and product marketing
* Own and evolve Trava Health’s brand voice across all channels
* Write conversion-focused copy informed by performance data, testing, and customer psychology
* Develop messaging frameworks for new offers, campaigns, products, and growth initiatives
* Simplify healthcare, wellness, and telehealth topics into clear, trustworthy language
* Partner closely with designers, growth marketers, product managers, and leadership on campaign execution
* Mentor junior writers or contributors by raising quality and consistency standards
* Review and edit copy for clarity, grammar, persuasion, tone, and compliance awareness
* Build scalable copy systems such as brand guidelines, messaging libraries, templates, and playbooks
* Use AI tools intelligently to accelerate ideation and production while maintaining strong human judgment
* Continuously improve copy based on test results, funnel metrics, and customer feedback
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a writing-focused discipline such as:
- English
- Journalism
- Communications
- Creative Writing
- Advertising / Copywriting
- Public Relations
- Marketing (writing-intensive focus)
* 5+ years of copywriting experience in direct-to-consumer, startup, healthcare, wellness, e-commerce, or performance marketing environments
* Proven ability to write copy that drives measurable business outcomes
* Strong portfolio showing brand work and conversion-focused work
* Excellent grammar, editing, and storytelling ability
* Ability to adapt tone across audiences and channels
* Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect messaging to business goals
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities
