Copywriter, Transformations Care Network – $55,000 – $60,000 a year
Transformations Care Network seeks an experienced Copywriter to join a fun, friendly, and hard-working marketing team passionate about connecting people to high-quality mental health care across the country. Reporting to the National Director of Marketing, this role will create engaging, educational content across multiple channels for diverse audiences within a multi-brand organization.
You’ll collaborate with clinicians, designers, marketers, and digital partners to ensure copy reflects our brand voice, promotes mental health awareness, reduces stigma, and connects individuals to care. This role requires a detail-oriented writer who can manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively. Experience writing for a health care or mental health care organization is a strong plus.
This is a fully remote position and requires occasional travel to Pittsburgh, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clear and compelling copy for all TCN digital and print materials, including websites, blogs, emails, social media, ads, landing pages, brochures, whitepapers, press releases, and more.
- Collaborate with and interview clinical team members, referral partners, and other audiences to create authoritative content and translate complex mental health topics into accessible, reader-friendly language.
- Work closely with SEO team to write all website copy in accordance with AIO/GEO best practices.
- Incorporate SEO keyword and search intent insights into copy that is optimized for natural language processing.
- Develop content that aligns with brand voice, values, clinical accuracy and compliance standards.
- Conduct research on mental health trends and audience insights to inform messaging.
- Edit and proofread copy for accuracy, tone, and clarity.
- Contribute to content strategy and campaign brainstorming sessions.
- Maintain consistency of voice across all communication channels; adjust messaging by audience type and brand.
- Own TCN’s multi-brand and multi-audience messaging guideline documents and keep updated as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional copywriting or marketing content writing experience, preferably in healthcare, mental health, or a similarly regulated industry.
- Solid experience creating website copy for AIO and GEO and strong knowledge of current SEO best practices.
- Proven experience translating both website copy and complex clinical or technical information into logically structured, conversational language for LLMs.
- Experience maintaining a consistent brand voice and adapting tone for different audiences and channels.
- Ability to produce copy for diverse formats across print and digital media channels including social media, digital advertising, email marketing, brochures, and educational content such as white papers and case studies.
- Experience using enterprise-level Agentic AI platforms like Jasper or Writer to create consistent branded content, personalized for various audiences, at scale.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work effectively with clinical, marketing, and creative teams.
- Excellent interviewing, research, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail, excellent project management, multi-tasking, organizational, and communication skills are required.
- Ability to work in a virtual environment.
- Writing samples required.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, journalism, communications, English, writing, business, psychology, or related field from applicable accredited program (preferred).
- Experience copywriting across multiple brands and locations and ability to identify scalable, time-saving process improvements (preferred).
- Understanding of audience segmentation and personalized content strategies for multi-brand or multi-audience organizations (preferred).
- Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, AHrefs, or similar) (preferred).
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot, or similar platforms) (preferred).
- Ability to interpret performance metrics and use data to refine messaging or content strategy (preferred).
- Experience developing or maintaining brand voice and messaging guidelines (preferred).
- Experience writing about mental health, behavioral health, or other healthcare-related topics (preferred).
- Passion for destigmatizing mental health and increasing access to mental health care (preferred).

Transformations Care Network is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual compensation range for this role is $55,000 – $60,000. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market-driven enhancements, and incentive opportunities available for this role. These ranges represent our current standard compensation practices and may be adjusted over time to remain competitive and aligned with organizational needs.
