About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Copywriter, Social to join our Creative Studio team. This person will report into our VP of Creative and spearhead creative ideation, strategy, and copy execution across paid social initiatives for a portfolio of our clients.

This role requires someone who can quickly grasp the essence of the brands they work on and start contributing immediately. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to develop and execute compelling social content that resonates with audiences.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Social Media Savvy: You’re active across all social platforms and can articulate the nuances that set each one apart. Crafting clever, concise social posts and hashtags comes naturally to you, and your social media presence is the envy of your friends.
  • Insightful: You have strong opinions on which brands excel in social media and which fall short—and you can explain why. Your ability to critique and suggest improvements is a valuable asset.
  • Creative Storyteller: You have a talent for telling engaging stories within the constraints of character limits and visual elements. Your excellent writing skills extend to all platforms, and you’re comfortable jumping on TikTok to nail the perfect post.
  • Observant: You’re always aware of what’s happening around you and have an innate ability to read situations and people. This skill helps you craft relevant and timely social content.
  • Data-driven: You are able to recommend creative testing frameworks and apply learnings to new creative based on previous tests.
  • Self-Starter: You’re confident, embrace challenges, and are adept at solving problems independently. While you thrive in a collaborative environment, you’re also capable of taking initiative when needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation, conception, copywriting, and presentation of paid social creative and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Fully absorb and apply brand and messaging guidelines across our client portfolio.
  • Oversee the entire social content creation process, from concepting, to execution, to final delivery.
  • Write scripts for UGC paid social videos, and brief creators accordingly.
  • Write copy for paid social creative: in-ad copy, and complementary copy across platform placements (Headline, Description, Post Copy, CTA, etc)
  • Serve as the go-to expert for social media platforms and influencers, staying updated on the latest trends and best practices.
  • Continue expanding your knowledge of social media, advertising, and creative references.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on larger integrated campaigns, advocating for a social-first perspective.
  • Work directly with clients and agency partners on all aspects of social media operations for their brands.
  • Prepare and present materials to clients, agency partners, and internal teams confidently.
  • Edit and proofread all creative materials before client presentations or publication.
  • Be responsible for the creation and curation of digital and social content across multiple clients.
