Reports To: Content StrategistI. Role SummaryThe Copywriter / Social Media Copy Specialist breathes life into brand messaging through concise, persuasive, and brand-aligned text. They shape the words people read in social captions, promotional campaigns, and lead-generating funnels, ensuring Justin and John’s unique voices are front-and-center, while also making complex real estate concepts digestible.II. - Voice Preservation: Master and consistently replicate Justin and John’s authentic tone, style, and energy.
- Persuasive Impact: Drive conversions, leads, and brand loyalty through compelling copy across multiple platforms.
- Education & Engagement: Simplify intricate real estate strategies, so both novice and veteran investors can follow and benefit.III. Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Caption Writing
- Develop scroll-stopping hooks and calls-to-action for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.
- Experiment with different content lengths and styles, from microcopy to longer narrative posts.
- Scripting & Email Sequences
- Craft scripts for podcast intros, video promos, or pre-recorded ads.
- Write email funnels targeting segments like potential sellers, private lenders, or business acquisition leads.
- Brand Voice & Messaging Consistency
- Continually refine brand lexicon: signature phrases, power words, brand mottos.
- Ensure tonal consistency across all channels—professional yet approachable, authoritative yet friendly.
- Content Collaboration
- Work from briefs provided by the Content Strategist to ensure alignment with broader campaign objectives.
- Support the Graphic Designer by providing precise copy for text overlays, infographics, or highlight reels.
- Testing & Optimization
- Participate in A/B testing of headlines, hooks, or email subject lines to increase open rates and conversions.
- Use analytics data to guide copy improvements, focusing on boosting click-through rates, watch times, or audience retention.IV. Strategic Aims
- Elevate Thought Leadership: Use copy to position Justin and John as industry pioneers and problem solvers.
- Maximize Engagement: Hook the audience fast, keep them reading, and prompt them to act (comment, share, DM, fill out a form, etc.).
- Funnel Efficiency: Support lead capture and nurturing efforts to move prospects further down the sales funnel.V. Daily Tasks & Long-Term Initiatives
- Daily/Weekly:
- Produce captions for scheduled posts, ensuring each platform’s unique requirements are met (character limits, hashtags, etc.).
- Draft short scripts or talking points for upcoming videos, reels, or live streams.
- Engage in quick iterative copy tweaks based on social media feedback or immediate performance data.
- Monthly/Quarterly:
- Refresh email and ad copy for ongoing campaigns to combat audience fatigue.
- Conduct copy audits to ensure brand voice remains consistent and updated with the latest business directions.
- Collaborate on major campaigns or product launches (e.g., investment workshops, wholesaling masterclasses).VI. Tools & Software
- Writing & Proofing: Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or specialized copywriting/editing platforms (e.g., Grammarly, Hemingway App).
- Project Management: Shared boards on Trello, Asana, or Monday.com for receiving briefs and tracking tasks.
- Data & Analytics: Email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign) or social analytics to gauge copy performance.VII. Ideal Candidate Attributes

- With the Content Strategist: Align on content pillars, brand voice updates, and campaign goals.
- With the Graphic Designer: Deliver concise yet powerful text for visuals.
- With the Social Media Manager: Ensure final copy meets platform-specific best practices and is scheduled accurately.
