Copywriter, Rock Paper Simple
We are seeking a talented and versatile Copywriter to join our creative team. This role requires a skilled writer who can craft compelling, audience-focused copy across a variety of formats, including long-form content like website pages, blogs, and whitepapers, as well as short-form content like social media posts, email campaigns, and advertisements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of branding, marketing, and storytelling, with the ability to adapt their tone and style to suit different audiences and channels. As a Copywriter, you will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and other team members to produce high-quality content that aligns with client objectives and drives results. This position is fully virtual. Pay range is $30,000 – $40,000, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Write clear, compelling, and engaging copy for diverse platforms, including:
- Long-form: websites, blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and press releases.
- Short-form: social media posts, email campaigns, ads, and headlines.
- Adapt tone, voice, and style to match client branding and audience expectations.
- Conduct research to inform content creation and ensure accuracy.
Collaboration and Strategy
- Work closely with the marketing, design, and strategy teams to align content with project goals.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and campaign strategies.
- Incorporate client feedback and revisions promptly and accurately.
Editing and Proofreading
- Review and refine copy to ensure high-quality, error-free deliverables.
- Maintain consistency in voice, tone, and style across all platforms.
Project Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring deliverables align with client expectations.
- Handle administrative responsibilities associated with projects including organization of files, information, and other assets.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, social media algorithms, and content best practices.
