The Role:

As a Junior Copywriter at Cart.com, you will be a key member of our Media team, reporting directly to the Content Director. You will be responsible for delivering strategic, data-driven creative across multiple eCommerce marketplaces, with Amazon being a primary focus. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with an award-winning, cross-functional team while crafting compelling copy for globally recognized brands.

You’ll be responsible for developing high-impact creative that drives results, utilizing data to inform your approach, and working closely with both internal teams and external clients. Your contributions will directly influence brand growth, and you’ll have the chance to see the tangible effects of your work on our clients’ businesses.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with designers and senior copywriters to create compelling content that resonates with our clients’ target audiences
  • Create high-performing content that drives purchase on Amazon
  • Perform basic keyword research to optimize listings for search ● Submit drafts to copy leads for feedback and guidance
  • Learn how to measure performance and the metrics we can use to show stakeholders our successes
  • Collaborate with brand and media teams to deliver an integrated approach to client success

What You’ve Done:

  • 1-3+ years of copywriting experience (internship or professional), preferably in eCommerce, marketing, or digital media.
  • You can write for a variety of content formats, including product descriptions, social media, email campaigns, web copy, and blog posts, ensuring consistency with brand voice.
  • You have a basic knowledge of SEO principles, applying keyword integration and other SEO best practices to improve content performance.
  • You balance creativity with practicality, crafting clear and actionable copy that aligns with brand goals.
  • You have relationship-building skills, working effectively with designers, marketers, and product teams to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
  • You are adept at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for storytelling and creating compelling, brand-aligned messages.
  • You demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning, staying updated on trends and strategies in eCommerce marketing.
