Copywriter, Print Presser – $48,000-$52,000/year
First Station Media is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Copywriter & Copy Editor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong writing and editing experience who is comfortable creating and refining content across multiple formats, including social media, web, and marketing materials. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of digital media, SEO best practices, and brand voice consistency. You will be responsible for producing high-quality written content and collaborating with designers, developers, and marketing teams to support client and internal initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit copy for social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and Instagram
- Develop and refine content for press releases, brochures, flyers, websites, and other marketing materials
- Research industry trends and incorporate insights into content strategies
- Collaborate with copywriters, graphic designers, developers, and clients
- Ensure all content aligns with First Station Media brand guidelines and standards
- Contribute creative ideas and participate in content-development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. First Station Media does not currently sponsor visas for this role
- Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
