THE ROLE

Seeking a driven, enthusiastic Copywriter with a focus on Performance and Direct Response marketing to join our Acquisition team. We are looking for someone dedicated to leveraging compelling storytelling, hooks, and education to enhance performance metrics, support our AG1 brand value perception and ensure a thorough grasp of the product benefits.

This role will be responsible for the ideation and execution of performance-optimized assets for a brand spanning health, supplements, and education, with a focus on supporting landing page copy and our Partnership ad reads for podcast and creators. This position will work closely with Creative Leadership, Product Marketing and Channel Teams, specifically designed for rapid and flexible execution, allowing us to swiftly respond to evolving category, customer, and channel trends.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background  in Digital Storytelling and Direct Response Copywriting, and the proven ability to concept, iterate and create well-informed performance marketing content. This person should enjoy and thrive in highly iterative, collaborative environments, where creativity lives at the intersection of human storytelling, channel behaviors and data, with a “What/So What/What Now” disposition to react to performance. We seek vocal leaders, who are experts in their functional lane, and take radical ownership of the overall output of the team. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work at the intersection of Creative Strategy and Channel Teams to ideate and execute a wide range of performance-optimized content development and copywriting assignments, with a primary focus on eCommerce Landing Pages, Podcasts and Creators, and secondary on paid social and email. This work will be optimized toward key Performance metrics, such as CAC, CTR and CVR.
  • Collaborate with other members of the “Quickstrike” creative pod (Design, Editors, and Producers), Creative Strategists and Channel Managers to create and respond to Creative Briefs, working in a weekly sprint process, designed to also enable opportunistic response to category, customer or channel trends.
  • Develop landing page copy and Partnerships ad reads from scratch to support Channel Managers with their advertising strategy
  • Respond on a weekly basis to performance reports, bringing a “What/So What/What Now” discipline that can take effect as soon as the next iteration of the work
  • Work with Creative Leadership to maintain a cohesive but channel-right brand expression across our Ecosystem, trading learnings that optimize the greater whole.
  • Maintain an insatiable curiosity about and deep knowledge of our flagship product AG1, the supplement market, the health and wellness market, human psychology and trends in order to deliver result-driven content and copy in the relevant platform and medium.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of direct response, performance copywriting experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience providing copy writing services in a high growth D2C online environment strongly preferred, particularly in the health space.
  • Experience on writing across Creators, Podcast, Website / Landing Pages, Paid Social, Email, and sales funnels.
  • Obsession of driving customer value and telling a story that drives an impact at each touchpoint.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a consistent “can-do” attitude.
  • Someone who understands and is passionate about supplements, health and wellness and meeting the human with the right message at the right time.
  • An understanding of the creative process in ideating, working through concepts and doing the work to get the best result.
  • A critical creative thinker that steps back and drives speed to execution.
  • Passion for copywriting and how it drives marketing strategy and overall business growth.
  • Understands how to collaborate across functions, receive feedback and deliver based on that feedback.
  • Adept attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple work streams at once.
  • Robust interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proof of a strong portfolio demonstrating copywriting excellence and results-getting messaging.
  • Proficiency in G Suite.
