About the Role
Mangomint is on a mission to simplify and elevate the salon and spa business experience. As a contract member of our Growth Services team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the voice of our brand and supporting initiatives that drive our growth.
Mangomint is seeking an experienced and versatile Contract Copywriter/Copy Editor to join our Growth Services team. This role will work closely with the Head of Growth Services to craft exceptional, on-brand copy across a variety of channels, including marketing, email, social media, events, and UX/product copy. We’re looking for a Copywriter who is a channel-agnostic generalist with a sharp eye for detail, a knack for storytelling, and a proven ability to create content that resonates with diverse audiences.
This is a part-time, remote contract role requiring 15–20 hours per week. The workload may vary depending on the volume of inbound project requests, so flexibility in your schedule is preferred.
As a Contract Copywriter/Copy Editor at Mangomint, you will:
- Write and edit copy for a range of platforms, including marketing materials, events, email campaigns, social media, and UX/product content
- Act as a content strategist, shaping brand vision and narratives across multiple platforms and touchpoints
- Ensure consistency in brand voice and tone, utilizing provided samples and a light copy style guide
- Contribute to editorial calendars and content strategies that support product launches, promotions, and other key initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with business goals and deliver on-brand messaging across touchpoints
- Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, engagement, and alignment with brand guidelines
- Review and refine copy submitted through inbound requests, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and consistency in tone and voice
- Provide feedback to requesters on submitted copy to improve clarity, engagement, and effectiveness
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of professional writing experience, including marketing, editorial, UX, or content design
- Proven experience writing consistent, on-brand copy for SaaS companies, either in-house or at an agency
- A strong online portfolio showcasing diverse writing samples across channels and formats.
- The ability to adapt your tone and style to fit different audiences and platforms
- Experience creating content strategies and defining brand narratives
- Familiarity with B2B customer journeys and optimizing copy for engagement and conversions
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A flexible schedule to accommodate fluctuating workloads and deadlines
Bonus Points if You:
- Have experience with content strategy in the SaaS or tech industry
- Are proficient in editing and copywriting tools, and have a solid understanding of copywriting basics and standards
- Are comfortable using Asana or similar project management tools and working within cross-functional teams
