Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and driven Content Manager/Copywriter who excels at producing high-quality written content and managing the overall content strategy. This role is ideal for a creative individual with exceptional writing skills and a strategic mindset who can engage audiences through compelling storytelling. You will be responsible for producing and publishing educational content, managing the company’s blog, and playing a pivotal role in shaping the voice and messaging of MaidCentral across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Management: Produce, edit, and publish 2-3 educational articles per week for the company’s blog and/or Learning Center. Oversee the majority of website copy, ensuring it aligns with MaidCentral’s tone and objectives.
  • Content Manager Duties: Oversee much of the website copy, assist in producing social content, run point on email campaigns/newsletters, and collaborate with subject matter experts (sales, engineers, R&D, etc.) to capture their knowledge and expertise, translating it into valuable content.
  • Collaboration and Content Research: Meet regularly with sales, leadership, engineers, and R&D to gather insights, conduct interviews, and generate content ideas that align with MaidCentral’s strategic goals.
  • Editorial Calendar Planning: Develop and manage an editorial calendar to ensure consistent content flow that supports marketing campaigns and business objectives.
  • SEO Optimization: Optimize content for search engines to enhance visibility and drive organic traffic to the website.
  • Premium Content Development: Create in-depth, high-value content such as guides, whitepapers, and case studies that showcase MaidCentral’s industry expertise and unique value.
  • Content Promotion: Promote content across various channels, including social media and email, to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Content Repurposing: Repurpose existing content into different formats, such as infographics, social media posts, and videos, to extend its lifespan and impact.
  • Content Refreshing: Update and refresh existing content to keep it relevant, accurate, and aligned with current SEO best practices.
  • Website Copy Creation: Write and optimize content for various pages of the company website, ensuring consistent messaging, tone, and high-quality standards.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze content performance metrics to assess what’s working, identify areas for improvement, and refine the content strategy to continuously optimize results.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability to adjust work hours based on project needs and campaign timelines.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a content manager or copywriter with a proven track record of producing engaging and educational content.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of writing styles, including blog posts, guides, promotional content, and web copy.
  • Exceptional writing skills with an ability to distill complex information into clear, engaging narratives.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience optimizing content for search engines.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and experience in running editorial calendars.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside sales, engineering, and marketing teams.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing multiple content streams.
