Copywriter and creative strategist – $4,000 – $8,000 a month
We are a performance marketing agency that helps direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce brands scale through high-volume, high-quality paid social creative, primarily on Meta (Facebook & Instagram).

We are looking for a Creative Strategist who deeply understands how to build and test paid social creative that converts in the U.S. market.
The Role
As a Creative Strategist, you will be responsible for shaping the why behind every ad we launch.
You will:
- Develop clear, testable creative angles for DTC brands
- Translate performance data into actionable creative direction
- Write detailed creative briefs for designers and editors
- Collaborate closely with media buyers and client success managers
- Continuously improve creative strategy based on results
This role is hands-on and performance-oriented.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Research ICPs and U.S. consumer behavior for client brands
- Generate multiple creative angles per product or campaign
- Write strong hooks, headlines, and value propositions
- Create clear, conversion-focused creative briefs (static + video)
- Review ad performance (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS) and iterate
- Identify winning patterns and scaling opportunities
- Audit existing creatives and suggest improvements
- Stay current on U.S. trends, Meta ad formats, and platform shifts
Who We’re Looking For
You likely have experience as one or more of the following:
- A Creative Strategist at a DTC brand or performance agency
- A performance-focused copywriter who understands Meta ads
- A media buyer who specialized heavily in creative strategy
You are a strong fit if you:
- Understand U.S. consumer psychology and culture
- Can clearly explain why a creative works or doesn’t
- Think in terms of angles, hooks, and testing frameworks
- Are comfortable reading and reacting to performance data
- Communicate clearly with designers and media buyers
- Have opinions and can defend them with logic and results
This Role Is NOT a Fit If You:
- Only have branding or organic content experience
- Rely on buzzwords instead of concrete reasoning
- Have little to no experience with paid social ads
- Are uncomfortable being accountable for performance
- Have never worked with U.S.-focused consumer brands
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in paid social creative strategy or related role
- Direct experience with Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ads
- Experience working with DTC e-commerce brands
- Strong written communication skills (U.S.-native level)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
Bonus (Not Required)
- Experience writing creative briefs for designers
- Experience working inside a DTC brand
- Familiarity with creative testing frameworks
- Experience collaborating with remote creative teams
